Important Health & Safety notice…
After last weekends storms on the East Coast there has been quite a lot off coastal erosion, while out walking over the weekend I noticed this sign.
These are a few snaps I took over the last couple of days on a visit to Sea Palling in Norfolk. The light in the morning and early evening was lovely. author weronikaAlong the way I managed to bump into Santa, who was on an RNLI lifeboat, and visit the baby seals at Waxham Sands.by
Hopefully you saw my recent post about the Pouva Sart camera. I recently bought this little camera on eBay and found it contained a roll of exposed film. I processed the film myself and to my great surprise it contained some images (I assumed the film had been sitting around a while and the chances of it still containing anything would be slim).
I scanned the film and have created a gallery, below. I would love to find out where and when they were taken. All i know is the camera could be anything up-to 65 years old. Judging by the images I think they were probably taken in the 1950/60’s. If you have any ideas please let me know, maybe you recognise the location or even better the people! The cameras were made and sold in East Germany we have done some research and a likely place could be somewhere around Heringsdorf.by
These image were taken in Sri Lanka on a train journey, I traveled from Galle in the South to Colombo the capital. They are part of my street photography folio. I shoot all of these from the train window using my Fuji X-T1 & 14mm prime lens.
I love this gallery as it offers a very candid view into the lives of ordinary Sri Lankans. The train journey gives you a close up and personal view of everyday people going about their daily business. The train passes very close to the beach and sandwiched between is an eclectic mixture of different dwellings, ranging from shacks through to hotels and houses.by
A snap taken of a Man on the Beach while I was away in Seapalling, Norfolk.
Man on the Beach was a quick snap I shot while away with friends. Eight of us and six dogs went for a weekend trip to the seaside. We stayed in a great place – St Benets.
Check out some of my snaps from the weekend here.
Seaside Walk Snapshots Norfolk
Continuing my slight obsession with cinematic images & combining it with Street Snaps I shot these images at the Easter weekend.
Purely for pleasure and as with my other street snaps they are taken as I walk along. This set were shot over the Easter Bank Holiday weekend during two walks between East/West Runton walking between Sheringham & Cromer.
They are all shot on my Fuji Film X-T1 and the 14 mm Lens. I shoot them in RAW then process them in Adobe Lightroom. Being in a bit of a hurry I used the Auto feature for ISO aperture & shutter speed (#lazy).by
